Joliet, Ill. - The Judson University volleyball team (6-9) split their matches on day two of the St. Francis Tournament.  JU defeated Missouri Valley in match one but fell to host USF, 3-0.

In match one vs. MVC, JU took a 3-0 win, 32-30, 30-23, 30-21, for their sixth win of the year.  Senior Erin Bultinck (Elgin, Ill.) led the way with 10 kills and 15 digs.  Junior Alesha Flikkema (Delavan, Wisc.) hit .500 and had four blocks while sophomore Debra Leganski (Elgin, Ill.) had 22 digs and senior Kym Gagnon (Flagstaff, Ariz.) had 21.

In the second match, JU fell to fellow CCAC opponent St. Francis, 3-0 (30-23, 30-20, 30-24). 

JU will host St. Xavier in CCAC play on Tuesday, September 18th at 7:30 p.m. SXU is 1-1 in the CCAC while JU is 2-0.
