Purdue-Calumet finished the run on a three-point play from Gaskin to put them up by four, 13-9. Judson came firing back with a 9-4 run over two minutes to take a one-point lead, 16-15. Huff had four of the nine points and Peek put Judson in front with a three-pointer. At the 12:30 mark, Peek hit a layup to give Judson the lead again, 18-17, only to see Purdue-Calumet's Madison Gervais hit two free throws 40 seconds later to retake the lead.
