CCAC Player of the Week
ELGIN, Ill. – Carissa Oelke was given Judson University's first CCAC Player of the Week award for volleyball this week for her play in six matches. This is her second career player of the week award in the CCAC.
Oelke helped Judson to a 3-3 record on the week and produced her first-ever 20/20 double-double. This last week was one of the best in her careeraveraging 11 kills and 13 digs per match. She recorded her first-ever 20/20 match with 20 kills and 20 digs vs. Clarke. She then posted a career-high 21 digs vs. Iowa Wesleyan. Earning her eighth and ninth double-doubles of the year, she had a double-double vs. Clarke and then posted 10 kills and 21 digs vs. Iowa Wesleyan. In CCAC play, she recorded 10 kills vs. St. Francis and eight kills and 17 digs in a win over Calumet College. For the week, she averaged 3.14 kills and 3.7 digs per set.
Judson is currently 9-15 and 3-5 in the CCAC. Oelke has also been the NCCAA National Player of the Week twice this year, too.
