Gary, Ind..- An all-around strong performance by the Judson University Eagles (5-9) happened at the Savannah Center in Gary, Indiana, with a 94-26 win over Indiana University-Northwest. JU dominated IUN in every category in the 68-point win.

Alicia Rovertoni (Columbia, Ill.) had a career-night with 22 points and 21 rebounds to lead all scorers. It was her third double-double of the year and the fifth time that she has grabbed 10 or more rebounds in a game this season.

Also having a career night were Heidi Rosenbaum (Dakota Duns, S.D.) and Jaime Schaufel (Round Lake Beach, Ill.). Rosenbaum canned six three-pointers and hit seven shots from the floor for a career-high 20 points while Schaufel had a career-high 17 points. Rosenbaum’s six three-pointers tied her for third all-time for three-pointers made in a game. Adding 10 points was Devonaye Henderson (Ellenwood, Ga.).

Leading from start to finish, JU took a 10-point lead in the first five minutes of the game, 14-4. By the 9:33 mark, they were up by 20-points, 30-10, and claimed a 30-point lead with 4:50 left in the half, 46-16. The Eagles went into the locker room with a 64-18 lead at the half.

The second half was much the same as the first but JU’s shooting percentage dropped to 37% from 54% in the first half.

Judson finished the game shooting 47% from the floor and from 3-point range while hitting 100% of their free throws (6-of-6). IUN shot only 23% from the floor and did not make a three-pointer. JU out rebounded IUN, 59-22, forced 25 turnovers, and had 21 steals.

The Eagles will travel to Missouri on Monday, January 7th, to take on Park University at 3:00 p.m.
