ELGIN, Ill. - For the second time this season, Judson University has swept the CCAC Men's Track and Field Athletes of the week as both Kyle Julian and Caleb Sutton have won the award. Both athletes won the award back on April 12th for Judson.
Sutton has won the field athlete of the week award for the fourth time this year. He won his fifth straight high jump competition of the year tying for first place by clearing 6'7" out of 18 competitors. He then was second of seven jumpers in the triple jump with a leap of 44'10.25". His distance was just 0.4 meters off of qualifying for the NAIA National Outdoor Meet and is also a new program record.
Julian ran against 15 other NCAA Division III and NAIA runners and won the 800 meter dash with a time of 1:58.14. That time was just over a second for qualifying for the NAIA National Meet. This is Julian's second award as the track athlete of the week.
