Wisconsin-Parkside 11, Judson 2 - Box

SOMERS, Wis. - Winning their 29th game of the year, the Judson University softball team split with NCAA Division II University of Wisconsin-Parkside, 5-4, and 11-2. Judson won game one before falling in game two. Judson is now 29-13 overall.

Game 1
Judson 5, Wisconsin-Parkside 4

Haley popped her first home run of the year for three runs in the fourth inning as Judson went on for a 5-4 win over Wisconsin-Parkside. Judson added two more runs in the fifth inning for a 5-0 lead before Wisconsin-Parkside added two in the fifth and two in the seventh to come within one. Concetta Lampugnano, Allison Catlett, Nicole Dimiceli, Brittany Holm, Erin Stankus, Secor, Hallie Niewold, and Kristen Krueger all had one hit. Sarah Boyer went the distance for her ninth win of the year and recorded five strikeouts.

Judson scored two runs in the fifth on an error to give Judson the 5-0 lead.

Game 2
Wisconsin-Parkside 11, Judson 2

Wisconsin-Parkside scored in every inning as they won in five innings, 11-2. Katie Talbot went 2.1 innings for the loss with one strikeout. Secor finished the final 1.2 innings and gave up four earned runs. Judson scored one run in the first and one in the fifth for their two runs. Lampugnano went 2-of-2 with one RBI. Secor also had one RBI.

Judson will host Trinity International University at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 25th in senior day in a CCAC double header.
