TUCSON, Ariz. - Continuing their winning ways in Arizona, Judson University won two of three games on their third day of play. Judson is now 6-2 on the year.

In the first game, Judson fell to #17 Madonna, 4-1. Sarah Boyer took the loss vs. Madonna and Brittany Holm was the only run for Judson. In game two, Judson held off Waldorf for a 4-3 win as Katie Talbot won her second game of the year. In the third game, Judson came away with a 3-1 win over Jamestown as Sam Gladen won her second game this week.

#17 Madonna 4, Judson 1
Madonna took a 4-0 lead before Judson scored their lone run in the seventh inning. Madonna scored one in the second and fourth inning and two in the fifth inning for a 4-0 lead. Sarah Boyer took the loss for Judson going seven innings with five strikeouts, two walks, and four earned runs on nine hits.
Carrie Sensor, Nicole Dimiceli, and Allison Catlett were the only players with a hit. Brittany Holm recorded an RBI. Holm grounded out with the bases loaded in the seventh inning to score Judson's run.
Judson 4, Waldorf 3

Scoring four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to take the lead, 4-3, Judson held onto the one-run win for their fifth win this week. Katie Talbot won her second game and Sam Gladen picked up her first save. Talbot had four strikeouts in six innings of work with only one walk and Gladen just had one strikeout in one inning.

Waldorf scored one run in the third, fourth, and sixth innings for a 3-0 lead. In the sixth, Dimiceli put Judson's first run on the board with a double to score Carrie Sensor. The next three runs all scored on an error to make it 4-3.

Judson 3, Jamestown 1
Two runs in the top of the sixth inning gave Judson the lead for good, 3-1, as they won their sixth game of the year. Sam Gladen won her second game of the year with six strikeouts in six innings of work. Concetta Lampugnano, Dimiceli, Catlett, Emily England, and Erin Stankus all had one hit. Holm led Judson with two RBI while England had one.
England recorded an RBI in the first inning to make it 1-0 as Catlett scored. Judson added two more runs in the sixth to break the1-1 tie. Holm had both RBIs as the runners came in on an error.
