
ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Only scoring one run on day two of the series, Judson University dropped another double-header to Harris-Stowe State University, 4-0, and 3-1. Judson is now 4-4 on the year.
Mitch Smith (Downers Grove, Ill.) and Tyler Ware (Williamsport, Ind.) took the losses for Judson. In game one, Levi Pippenger (Woodstock, Ill.) had three hits to lead Judson with two singles and a double. Brian Brauer (Streamwood, Ill.) added a double. In game two, T.J. Swank (Crystal Lake, Ill.) singled in Brauer for the only run of the day in the sixth inning.
Smith went 4.2 innings in game one and gave up three earned runs. Ryan Pollock (Lakewood, Ill.) pitched the final 1.1 innings. In game two, Ware went five innings giving up three earned runs. Kevin Carmody (Bartlett, Ill.) pitched the final inning.
Judson will travel to a neutral site (Bethel University) in Tennessee on February 26th to face Missouri Baptist in a four-game series.
