Elgin, Ill. – Capitalizing on Judson University’s 30 turnovers, #12 Davenport University (8-0) stayed perfect on the season with a 63-41 win over the Eagles (3-5). This was the fourth nationally ranked team that Judson has faced this season in eight games.
DU’s Jeanette Woodberry was named the MVP of the Judson Tournament and teammate Brittany Lyman were both named to the All-Tournament team. Judson’s Kelly Friestad, Northwestern College’s Katie Tuseth, and Indiana-Northwest’s Ashley Howard were also on the team.
Devonaye Henderson led Judson with seven points and seven rebounds. DU’s Kristi Boehm and Jeanette Woodberry led all scorers with 12.

DU pushed their lead to 28 on two free throws with 13:11 left in the game. JU put together an 8-2 run to bring the lead down to 22, 56-34, with 9:08 remaining. That is as close as they would get as they finished at 63-41.
