
MILWAUKEE, Wisc. - Pitching their fourth straight shutout, Judson University only allowed three shots in a 3-0 win over Cardinal Stritch University (6-7-2/2-5). Judson is now 12-1-1 on the year and 4-1-1 in the CCAC.
Mike Tobie led Judson with three points as he had one goal and one assist. Tobie put Judson up, 1-0, in the 29th minute on a penalty kick and then assisted on Judson's second goal in the 61st minute. Eddie Philpot put Judson up 2-0 and then Corey Burke finished out the scoring for Judson in the 73rd minute.
Judson took 20 overall shots with nine in first half and 11 in the second half. Cardinal Stritch took one shot in the first half and two in the second. Cardinal Stritch also had two corner kicks.
Alex Tyton collected his sixth shutout of the season with three of the shutouts coming against CCAC opponents. He had one save on the night and now has not allowed a goal in 364 minutes.
Judson will next play on Wednesday, October 20th, against Trinity Christian College at 3:00 p.m.
