CHICAGO, Ill. - Despite out shooting St. Xavier University, 19-12, with 11 shots on goal, Judson University couldn't locate the net in a 4-0 loss in CCAC women's soccer competition. Judson is now 1-5-3 and 0-2-1 in the CCAC.
St. Xavier divided their scoring up in three ways in the win. They connected on their first two goals ins the 10th and 19th minute and then made it 3-0 right before half in the 42nd minute on an own goal by Judson. St. Xavier finished off the scoring with an early goal in the second half (47th minute) to make it 4-0.
Judson took seven shots in the first half and 12 in the second half for their 19 shots. Kamila Marchi had six shots with five on goal and Kaylee O'Brien took five shots with three on goal.
Sara Hoffman started in goal and went 52 minutes before Mackenzie Fowler took over. Hoffman had five saves but gave up four goals. Fowler did not have any saves in the final 38 minutes.
Judson will travel to Indiana on Tuesday, October 5th, to face Calumet College in CCAC play at 3:00 p.m.
