Kansas City, Mo. – With the success that Judson had this season follows awards. Picking up NAIA All-American Honorable Mention awards for Judson are Mark senior’s Mark Howlett and Steve Moldenhauer and junior Gustavo Oliveira.

Howlett, who was named a NAIA All-American last season, too, led the CCAC in points (1.68 ppg) and goals (1.13 pg). He was named to the NAIA Region VII First-Team recorded 17 goals and 41 points this season. He was named the CCAC Player of the Week three times and the NAIA Region VII Player of the Week once. He was also named to the NAIA

 

NCCAA National Player of the Year Moldenhauer became a NAIA All-American for the first time. He was the CCAC Player of the Year for his defensive skills and recently named the top player in the NCCAA. He has guided JU to six shutouts with five in CCAC matches. He has recorded two goals and two assists for six points.

In his first season at Judson, Oliveira became a NAIA All-American. He was the only unanimous choice for the all-CCAC First-Team and also on the NAIA Region VII First-Team. In the CCAC, he finished third in points (1.33 pg) and 11th in goals (0.40 pg). Overall, he averaged 1.33 points per game with eight goals and 11 assists on the year. He was the CCAC Player of the Week once and the NCCAA National Player of the Week once.

JU finished their season at 15-5-3 and went to their fourth straight NAIA National Tournament. They also won four straight CCAC Championships, CCAC Tournament Championships, and NAIA Region VII Championships.
