
NORMAL, Ill. - Running against some of the top competition in Illinois, the Judson University women's cross country team finished 18th of 31 teams at the Illinois Intercollegiate Meet. Judson finished with 56 points. In the college division, all the teams that are not NCAA Division I, Judson was 11th of 25.
Kim Peek (Springdale, Ark.) was the top runner for Judson as she crossed the finish line in 89th place out of 330 runners. She finished the race with a time of 19:56 and an average mile of 6:25. Meaghan Gard (Elgin, Ill.) was the next runner to cross in 96th place with a time of 20:03. Kristal Pitts (Arlington Heights, Ill.) ran a 21:06 for 151st place. Rounding out the first 200 runners was Stephanie Belokon in 198th place (22:02).
Morgan Kimball (E. Grand Rapids, Mich) had a 22:31 time in 206th and then was followed by Dianna Clark (Fairbury, ill.) in 212th (22:43), and Cassie Criminger (Buda, Ill.) in 215th (22:48).
Judson next competes on October 2nd at the Wisconsin Lutheran Invitational.
