
LAMONI, Iowa - In day two of the Pizza Shack Graceland University Tournament, Judson University went four sets in each match but did not come away with a win. Judson dropped to 0-5 on the year with losses to Culver-Stockton and host Graceland.
In the first match of the day vs. Culver-Stockton, Judson won set three to cut the lead to one but ran out of steam, 23-25, 17-25, 25-23, 24-26. Three of the four sets were close for Judson but they could not find the finishing points losing in four sets. Carly Campioni (Crystal Lake, Ill.) had 32 assists while Kylee Koon (Plainfield, Ill.) led Judson with 12 kills. Carissa Oelke (Oregon, Ill.) add nine kills and Koon recorded 12 digs.
Graceland took the second match of the game vs. Judson in four sets, 16-25, 17-25, 25-19, 18-25. Campioni came through with 26 assists and Oelke provided 12 kills and 20 digs. Jaimie Pearson (Princeton, Ill.) had 11 digs.
Judson will play again on Friday, September 17th, when they travel to Beloit College for a tournament.
