ELGIN, Ill. - Incoming transfer Lucas Mulholland brings instant credibility to the program with his talents as he was named the Iowa PGA Junior Player of the Year. Mulholland recorded 1485 points and finished more than 300 points more than the second place finisher.

Mulholland is from Mount Vernon, Iowa, and will be a sophomore for Judson after transferring from Ashford University. In his freshman year at Ashford, he had three top 10 finishes and finished third at the Clarke Invitational.

In high school, Mulholland picked up several awards as he was a two-time all-Conference selection and Iowa State qualifier. He finished seventh in the state in 2009 at the Iowa State Tournament. He won three tournaments in his senior year and helped his team to fourth place at the Iowa State Tournament. In his junior year, Mount Vernon won the conference championship.

Judson is in their second year of men's golf under Chris Watson after the program was restarted in the 2009-10 season.
