ELGIN, Ill. - Three more women's tennis players have committed to play for Judson University and Art Steuber beginning in the fall 2010. Kirstie Shales (Elgin, IL), Rachel Hegel (Elgin, IL), and Marisa Gauss (Riverside, CA) all will play at Judson.

Rachel Hegel

Played two years at Elgin Community College for Clark Hallpike…helped team to two undefeated regular seasons…team won two Skyway Conference Championships and NJCAA Regional Championships…two-time team qualifier for NJCAA National Tournament…lettered for Larry DeHaan at Elgin High School…two-time IHSA State qualifier…team finished second in conference in sophomore year…four-year varsity letter winner in soccer…daughter of Walter and Teryl Hegel…born on February 23, 1990.
Marisa Gauss
Riverside, CA l Woodcrest Christian HS
Two-year letter winner for Coach Contreas…given Coach's Award in senior season…made the CIF (California Playoffs) in 2010…member of Pep Club, Key Club, Culinary Arts Club, and Big Sister/Little Sister Club…earned Academic High Honors all four years.
