ELGIN, Ill. - In her second year with the program, Amy Cook has signed four more athletes for the 2010-11 cheerleading/poms squad. Judson added cheerleading and poms in 2009-10. Joining the squad is Caitlin Christian (Grayslake, IL), Danae Sewood (Grayslake, IL), Kristen Semirch (West Dundee, IL), and McKenna Lyn Haas (Fairbury, IL).

Caitlin Christian
Grayslake, IL l Grayslake Central HS

Lettered two years in cheerleading for Jen Pietrowicz…received the most dedicated award and the Rams Sportsmanship award…team went to two State competitions…member of the National Honor Society, honor roll, and Spanish Club…daughter of Dave and Renee Christian…born on December 31, 1991…will major in Sports Management.

Danae Sewood
Grayslake, IL l Westlake Christian Academy

Cheered for coach Michelle Lentz…also participated in volleyball and basketball…received most improved player and most valuable player awards from team…given ACSI Distinguished Player Award…team finished fourth at ACSI National Tournament…member of the student council…daughter of Wesley Sewood and Sandra Henley…born on December 21, 1991…will major in Elementary Education.

Kristen Semrich
West Dundee, IL l H.D. Jacobs HS

Lettered in dance under Melissa Mueller…earned a ‘2' at State Championship competition in dance…was the Editor-in-Chief of newspaper…member of National Honor Society, Student Council, and Interact…is the daughter of Kurt and Eileen Semrich…born on June 5, 1984…will major in Elementary Education.

McKenna Lynn Haas
Fairbury, IL l Praire Central HS

Earned two letters in cheerleading under Jeana Forsyth…member of Student Council and Fellowship of Christian Athletes…daughter of John and Connie Haas…born on August 31, 1992…will major in psychology.
