ELGIN, Ill. - Three more golfers have signed to continue their collegiate careers at Judson University starting in the 2010 fall season. Curtis Christensen, Doug Gordon, and Caleb Hess all will become Eagles in the fall. They join Scott Minta (Naperville, IL/College of DuPage/Aurora Christian), J.R. Schultz (Crystal Lake, IL/Crystal Lake South HS), Jeff Cohn (Hampshire, IL/Hampshire HS) and Jordan Twidell (Walnut, IL/Bureau Valley HS) as the newest members of head coach Chris Watson's team.

Lettered for coach Travis Thorson…overall medalist for ColFax Meet in 2009 and finished second in 2010…in career at Clear Creek Amana finished runner up in two tournaments…was top 10 in community meet…earned All-Conference in 2009…also played football and basketball…participated in art, music, band, and worship band…earned an art award, was best of show, and first place in drafting…is the son of Chuck and Janelle Christensen…born on July 10, 1991…will major in business.

Won two letters under Carrie Black-Shank.

Sauk Valley C.C.: Played for coach Dave Williams…won three tournaments overall with two in 2009 and on in 2010…part of team record score of 298…two-time all-Conference.

Faith Christian HS: Picked up for letters under coach Pastor Don...played basketball and soccer…two-time all-Conference for both basketball and soccer…was conference MVP for basketball in senior season and finished career with 1,950 points….helped soccer team to 2008 State Championship…basketball team was2007 state runner-up…member of high honor roll and yearbook…son of Al and Pam Hess…born on November 16, 1989…will major in accounting.
