ELGIN, Ill. - Three players for the Judson University softball team were named to the All-CCAC First-Team for their play in the 2010 season. Nicole Dimiceli, Concetta Lampugnano, and Lizzy Jacobson all earned first-team status.

For the third year in a row, Dimiceli was voted onto the first-team for her offensive numbers. In the CCAC she was first in home runs, third in total bases, fourth in hits and RBI, fifth in slugging percentage, and seventh in doubles. She finished the year batting .390 with a .690 slugging percentage and 63 RBI. At Judson this year, she broke her own single season records set last year for hits (78) and RBI (63) and tied the home run record with 14. Overall as a career at Judson, she holds four records in hits (209), RBI (155), doubles (47), and home runs (28).

Jacobson picks up her second All-CCAC first-team award as she also was on the team in 2008. Jacobson was eighth in the CCAC in RBI. On the mound, she was second in appearances, third in innings pitched, fourth in wins, and eighth in strikeouts. At Judson, she leaves as the all-time strikeout leader on the mound with 248 and is the leader in career at-bats (560) and walks (70). This year, she also broke the single season record for wins with 16. She is in five different single season categories for the top 10 in hits, RBI, doubles, home runs, and walks. She finishes her career first in at bats (560) and walks (70), second in RBI (145) and home runs (25), third in hits (170), fourth in doubles (27), and seventh in runs scored (78). In pitching, she is first in strikeouts (248) and second in innings pitched (416.1) and most wins (34).

Lampugnano earns her first CCAC award as a sophomore. She batted .348 with a .602 slugging percentage and was second on the team in RBI with 58. She also slugged 11 home runs and had 14 doubles. In the CCAC, she was second in home runs, sixth in total bases, seventh in RBI and hits, eighth in runs scored and doubles, and 10th in slugging percentage.

The Judson softball program enjoyed one of their finest years as they won a program best 31 games and went to the NCCAA National Tournament. Offensively, the team broke six records in wins, hits (515), runs scored (325), RBI (284), doubles (84), and home runs (41). Head coach Becky Stenning also became the all-time wins coach and now has 128 career wins.
