ELGIN, Ill. - Signing three women's golfers for the 2010-11 season, head coach Chris Watson has talented golfers coming to Judson University. Two golfers come from McHenry County in the Chicagoland area with the other signee from California.
Katlyn Anderberg (Lake in the Hills, IL/Huntley HS) and Katelyn Horgan (Crystal Lake, IL/Praire Ridge HS) are from McHenry County while Devan Heupel (Manteca, CA/East Union HS) comes from California. Judson just finished their inaugural year in women's golf with three golfers that are all returning.

Three-year letter winner for Patti Hie…2010 McHenry County Champion…three-time All-Conference…two-time IHSA Sectional qualifier…helped team to 2007 conference championship…team also were the McHenry County Champions…helped team to first-ever IHSA Sectional Tournament…also participated in intramural badminton…member of the Math team, newspaper, Spanish National Honor Society, and theater…is an Illinois State Scholar, WYSE (World Wide Youth and Science Engineering) sectional qualifier, and made the high honor roll eight times…is the daughter of Bruce and Barbara Horgan…born on May 24, 1992…will major in biology.

Manteca, CA l East Union HS
Has won eight combined letters in volleyball, basketball, golf, and swimming…played golf for coach Brian Goulart…in swimming was given the Booster Club Award and Rookie of the Year…also given Booster Club Award for basketball…earned National Physical Fitness Award…helped volleyball team to two conference championships and playoff appearances…also participated in Link Crew, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Yearbook, and Aquatics Club…daughter of James and Janet Heupel…born on October 28, 1991…will major in architecture.
