ELGIN, Ill. - Heading into their second year of the program head golf coach Chris Watson has been busy signing four new recruits for the 2010-11 season. Three athletes come to Judson from the Chicagoland area with the fourth from Illinois.

Signing to continue their collegiate career at Judson from the Chicagoland area are Scott Minta (Naperville, IL/College of DuPage/Aurora Christian), J.R. Schultz (Crystal Lake, IL/Crystal Lake South HS), and Jeff Cohn (Hampshire, IL/Hampshire HS) while Jordan Twidell (Walnut, IL/Bureau Valley HS) is from Walnut, IL.

Judson enters their second year in 2010-11 of men's golf and will be led by senior captains Joe Caruso and Eric Suits.

Attended College of DuPage but did not golf…Won two varsity letters at Aurora Christian…MVP of golf team as a senior…placed third at IHSAA Regional tournament and advanced to IHSA Sectional Tournament…golfed for coach Paul Minta…two two varsity letters for baseball…son of Paul and Patricia Minta…born on April 27, 1990…also plays hockey…led club team to Northern Illinois Hockey League Championship.

Won two varsity letters in golf and baseball…played golf for Curt Wadlington…was an IHSA Regional Finalist for golf…earned Most Improved Golfer in sophomore year…in baseball was the Most Improved Player as a freshman…son of Bill and Tresa Schultz…born on May 11, 1992…will major in architecture….named to high honor roll as a senior.

Four-year varsity letter winner in golf for Coach Howe…won two varsity letters in baseball…two-time IHSA Sectional qualifier for golf…golf team finished second at 2009 IHSA Regional Tournament and advanced to IHSA Sectional Tournament…earned two-time All-Conference honorable mention award…holds school record for nine holes of golf…finished third in a tournament at Elgin Country Club…son of Ellis and Linda Cohn…born on January 23, 1992…been on Super Honor Roll all four years.

Three-year varsity letter winner for coach Duane Price…was #1 golfer in junior and senior year…qualified for the IHSA Sectional Tournament…unanimously voted to All-Conference team…two-time All-Bureau County Republican Golfer…finished second in the conference tournament as a junior…two-year letter winner in baseball…member of advanced science club and history club…son of Allen and Jodi Twidell…born on July 2, 1992…will major in business…is a Praire State Scholar.
