UPLAND, Ind. - Three athletes earned NCCAA All-American and one athlete became a national champion in their first-ever NCCAA Outdoor Track National Meet.  Rachael Dean, Lauren Strohmaier, and Sarah Dede all became all-Americans while Dede won the triple jump to become a national champion.  Judson scored 22.5 points to finish in 10th place out of 16 teams.

Dede scored 11 points for Judson as she picked up 10 in the triple jump with her national champion performance leap of 36'8.5".  She the captured one point in the long jump finishing in eighth place with a jump of 16'6.5".  Rachael Dean scored six points with a third place finish in the 1,500 meter run and qualified for the NAIA National Meet with a time of 4:45.  Strohmaier then cleared 4'11" in the high jump to tie for third and 5.5 points to finish out the Judson scoring.

Also participating in the national meet were Kim Peek in the 400 meter hurdles (16th - 1:12.41), Morgan Kimball in the 3,000 meter steeple chase (9th - 12:39.80), and Kristal Pitts in the 800 meter dash (27th - 2:29.46).

Dean and Dede will now move onto the NAIA National Meet at the end of May.
