UPLAND, Ind. - Sarah Dede won Judson University's first-ever female individual national championship as she won the NCCAA Outdoor Track and Field triple jump. She jumped 11.19 meters to claim the championship. Judson also had another NCCAA All-American in Lauren Strohmaier.
Strohmaier cleared a height of 4'11" in the high jump to place third and be named a NCCAA All-American. Also participating on Friday in the first race of the 400 meter hurdles is Kim Peek.
Judson will continue to participate on Saturday at the NCCAA National Championship.
