BOURBONNAIS, Ill. - Judson University's bid to win the CCAC Softball Tournament out of the loser's bracket fell short in their third game in two days as they lost to Robert Morris, 3-2. Judson is now 30-27 on the year.

Sarah Boyer took the loss for Judson going six innings recording seven strikeouts and giving up two earned runs. Lizzy Jacobson finished the final inning and had two strikeouts and one earned run. Six players had one hit for Judson as Haley Secor had the lone RBI.

Robert Morris scored a run in the top of the third and the sixth for a 2-0 lead. Judson then cut the lead to one, 2-1, in the bottom of the sixth but then gave up a run in the top of the seventh.

Judson will now wait and see if they will receive and at-large bid to the NCCAA National Tournament held in West Palm Beach, Fla.
