#19 Olivet Nazarene 12, Judson 2 - Box
 

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. - Facing the top seeded #19 Olivet Nazarene in the CCAC Tournament, Judson fell in their second game of the day, 12-2, as the will now have to play out of the loser's bracket. Judson is now 30-26 on the year.

Sarah Boyer took the loss going 1.2 innings and giving up three earned runs on four hits. Lizzy Jacobson pitched two innings and had two strikeouts but gave up seven earned runs on five hits. Hallie Niewold finished the final 1.2 innings with one strikeout and two earned runs. Concetta Lampugnano had three hits for Judson and Carrie Sensor and Niewold each had a RBI.

Olivet Nazarene took a 3-0 lead in the first two innings but Judson cut the lead to one in the bottom of the second on a Niewold double that scored Allison Catlett. Olivet Nazarene the put up four runs in the third, three in the fourth, and two in the fifth to end the game early. Judson did score one more run in the fourth inning on a Sensor single.

Judson will now play Robert Morris at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 7th, in the loser's bracket. The winner of the game will have again at 12 p.m.
