Putting up four runs in the first inning, Amann started things off as the second batter of the game bringing in Brauer with a triple. He then came home to make it 2-0 on a wild pitch. Four batters later, Parsill singled through the right side as both Cantwell and Rohl made it 4-0. Purdue-North Central came within two with two runs in the bottom of the first inning. That is all the closer they would come in the game.

Judson added one run in the third before scoring six in the fourth and three in the fifth inning to make it 14-2. In the third inning, Rohl scored to make it 5-2 on a passed ball. The six runs in the fourth inning put Judson up, 11-2. After Levi Pippenger walked to start the fourth inning, Brauer tripled to bring him in. Amann followed Brauer with a double for the second run of the inning. He then advanced to third and home on the second passed ball of the game by Purdue-North Central. Four batters later, Cantwell recorded a RBI as he doubled to left field scoring Rohl. Parsill then stepped to the plate and produced his fifth home run of the year over the left field fence to finish out the scoring.

A three-run fifth inning put Judson up 14-2 and well in command of the game. The three runs came on Rohl's fifth home run of the year over the center field fence for the 12-run lead.

Judson gave up two runs in the bottom of the seventh as the game ended.
