Cardinal Stritch 4, Judson 3 - Box

MILWAUKEE,Wisc. - Losing a heartbreaker to Cardinal Stritch in the bottom of the ninth inning, Judson fell, 4-3, in a single nine inning CCAC game. Judson is now 29-17 on the year an 16-8 in the CCAC.

In the bottom of the ninth with two outs, Cardinal Stritch's Abromatis singled through the left side of the infield to score S.Smith from third base for the win. Joe Huenecke took the loss for Judson going 2.2 innings with two hits and one earned run.

Three players led Judson at the plate with two hits in Levi Pippenger, Johnny Amann, and Nate Rohl. Rohl, Amann, and Derek Shomon each had a RBI. Rohl hit his fourth home run of the year to gain his RBI.

Cardinal Stritch took the 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning only to see Judson tie it at the top of the second. The lone run came on Rohl's fourth home run of the year to right field. Cardinal Stritch retook the lead in the fourth inning, 3-1, with two runs.

Judson pieced together one run innings in the seventh and eighth to tie the game at three. Amann brought in the second run of the game in the seventh inning with a single to the left side as Giovanni Cantwell scored. In the eighth inning, Shomon singled up the middle as Rohl came in from second base to tie the game.

Judson has now lost four games in a row after winning four games in a row. They have a key CCAC double header on Friday, April 30th, in Chicago against St. Xavier who is currently second in the CCAC.
