MONMOUTH,
Ill. - In their second to last tournament of the 2010 spring season, the Judson
University men's golf team placed 17th of 19 teams at the Scot-Fire
Classic hosted by Knox College. Judson
shot a two-day total of 679 (345-334) with their second day as the best
trimming 11 strokes off of day one's score.
Leading the
way for Judson was Greg Hanson as he tied for 73rd with a 167
(84-83) in his best round of golf of the year.
C.J. Kool was then 79th (86-83) with a 169 and he was
followed by Joe Caruso in 83rd (85-86=171). Zach Gasior finished in 85th after
cutting eight strokes off of his first day total of 90 to finish with a 172
(90-82). Matt Koehling was then 96th
with a 195 (99-96).
Judson will
finish the season at the inaugural CCAC Championships on Monday, April 26th
and Tuesday, April 27th.
