Troll Relays - 5th of 6 teams
PALOS
HEIGHTS, Ill. - Taking just a few members of the track team to the Trinity
Christian College Troll Relays, the Judson University men's track team finished
fifth of six teams with 19 points. Judson
competed against three other CCAC schools in St. Xavier, St. Francis, and
Trinity Christian.
"We took a
small team over to Trinity Christian and I was very impressed with their
performances," states head coach Rich Weinhandl. "I was very pleased with everyone's effort
and we worked on certain points of our race.
With our conference meet in just two and half weeks, this was a good
gauge to see where we are as we faced several conference teams."
Judson
scored a majority of their points in the 1500 meter run as Zach Adams, Kyle
Julian and Dakota West took three of the top six places. Adams was fourth (4:16.54), Julian fifth
(4:23.01), and West sixth (4:24.84). in
the 3000 meter run, Nate Nevius finished
fourth with a time of 9:21.41. The 4x400
relay team also set a new record at 3:39.94 as Julian led the way with a
00:53.0 run in the 400 meter run.
