BENSONVILLE, Ill. - Dropping two games in a CCAC double header, Judson University is now 2-4 in the CCAC and 14-10 overall. Judson fell to Robert Morris, 9-3, and 6-0. Sarah Boyer took the loss in game while Hallie Niewold fell to 2-1 on the year in game two.

Game 1

Robert Morris 9, Judson 3

Judson scored early for a 1-0 lead but fell behind in the bottom of the first inning, 4-1. They then cut the lead to one, 4-3, in the top of the third but then gave up three runs in the bottom of the inning to make it 7-3. Robert Morris then scored a run in the fourth and fifth innings to finish out the score at 9-3.

Boyer went four innings and gave up eight earned runs with three strikeouts on 12 hits. Hallie Niewold finished the final two innings and gave up one earned run on three hits.

Nicole Dimiceli and Hayley Secor both went 2-of-3 in the game. Dimiceli had two RBI on a double.

Dimiceli singled in the only run in the first inning with a hit to left center field scoring Concetta Lampugnano. After falling behind 4-1, Judson added two more runs in the third inning. Danielle Curylo had the other RBI in the game with a double to bring in Kristin Krueger. Two batters later, Dimiceli doubled for her second RBI of the game as Curylo crossed home plate.

Game 2

Robert Morris 6, Judson 0

After three scoreless innings, Robert Morris broke through with one run in the bottom of the fourth. Robert Morris then blew open the game in the bottom of the sixth with five runs to make it 6-0. Dimiceli went 2-of-3 while Kruger was 2-of-2.

Niewold took the loss going four innings and not giving up any earned runs on six hits. Lizzy Jacobson finished the final two innings and gave up five earned runs on six hits with one strikeout.

Judson will travel to Bourbonnais, Ill., to face Olivet Nazarene at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31^st, in CCAC action. ONU is receiving votes in the NAIA National Poll.
