BOURBONNAIS, Ill. - Splitting on day two of the Olivet Nazarene University Invitational, Judson University won their fifth consecutive game before falling to the host in the final game of the day. Judson is now 14-8 on the year and have won eight of their last 10 games.

Judson 6, Stephens 3

Judson scored in the first three straight innings to take a 5-1 lead before winning, 6-3. Nicole Dimiceli went 3-of-3 on the day with two RBI and two runs scored. One of her this was her fifth home run of the year. Lizzy Jacobson went seven innings and gave up three runs (none earned) with five strikeouts.

Right off the back Judson took a 3-0 lead in the first inning. Dimiceli picked up her first RBI of the day when she singled in Carrie Sensor. Concetta Lampugnano also scored on the hit after a fielding error. Dimiceli scored two batters later on a Stephen's error.

Judson then scored a run in the second and third inning to make it 5-1. In the second inning, Lampugnano hit her fourth home run of the year. In the third inning Hallie Niewold had a sacrifice bunt that brought in Sensor. After a scoreless inning, Stephens came within two, 5-3, with two runs in the top of the fifth inning. Judson then scored one in the bottom of the fifth on Dimiceli's home run.

Olivet Nazarene 9, Judson 1

Olivet Nazarene scored eight runs in the first two innings to take control of the game. Judson's lone run came in the fourth inning before Olivet Nazarene scored one in the bottom of the inning.

Sensor, Dimiceli, and Niewold were the only three hits of the game for Judson with Niewold collecting the only RBI. Brianne Simmons took the loss on 0.1 innings of pitching. Jacobson finished the game going the final 3.2 innings with five earned runs and five hits.

Judson will travel to Robert Morris on Tuesday, March 30^th, at 5:00 p.m. in CCAC action.
