PULASKI,
Tenn. - Splitting their second series of their spring break trip to Tennessee,
Judson University took game one from Martin Methodist, 19-13, before falling
20-5 in game two. Judson is now 6-6 on the
new season.
Judson had
five pitchers in game one as Jason Egli received the win. John Banks started the game before Egli took
over. Pitching after Egli was Scott
Newton, Kyle Murphy, and Ed Draper.
Three
players had a home run on the day for Judson as Brian Brauer hit his first
collegiate home run. Paul Zarlengo then
smacked a home run followed by two home runs by Matt McHenry. Levi Pippenger led Judson with three hits and
added two RBI with a double. Adding two
hits were Johnny Amann, Zach Williams, and Giovanni Cantwell. Collecting doubles were Ben Vincent and Nate
Rohl.
Judson will
take on Hiwassee College on Tuesday in their third double header of their
Tennessee spring break trip.
