JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - Running in her first ever NAIA Indoor National Meet, Rachael Dean had her best time of the year in the 3000 meter run to finish in seventh place. The seventh place finish was just one spot shy of being an All-American.
Dean ran a personal best 10:07.56 which was 18 seconds faster than her best time of the year. To get to the finals, she advanced through placing in the top four of her heat on the day before.
Dean was the first female track runner to participate in the NAIA Indoor National Meet.
