ROCKFORD, Ill. - Taking on two NCAA Division III programs, the Judson University men's tennis team fell in a dual meet. Judson dropped the first meet, 5-4, to Rockford College and then was shutout 9-0 against Lake Forest. Judson is now 2-7 on the year.

In the loss to Rockford, Judson started down 2-1 as they won the #1 doubles match. Sonesackit Siripanya and Thepkaysone Siripanya scored the point in an 8-6 win over Mike Urbelis and Christ Wilwers. Jesse Perez and Adam Westhauser fell in the #2 doubles match, 8-6, and then Judson forfeited the #3 doubles match.

In singles play, Sonesackit Siripanya won the #1 singles, 6-2, 6-3, over Matt Saelens to tie the match. Judson then fell in the #2 singles but won in #3 as Adam Westhauser won 7-5, 6-2 over Wilwers. Jesse Perez fell in the #4 singles and then Luke Prewitt won the #5 match, 6-0, 6-0 over Matt Zawadzki. Judson then had to forfeit the #6 singles as the fell, 5-4.
