ELGIN, Ill. - Trying to make a run for the 2010 CCAC Tournament Championship, the Judson University women's basketball team will face Trinity International University in the first round on Tuesday, February 23rd, at 7:00 p.m. in Deerfield, Ill. This will be the third season in a row that Judson has played Trinity International in the CCAC Tournament. Judson is seated #5 in the tournament while Trinity International is #4.  Overall, Judson has won three CCAC Tournament Championships in 2000, 2001, and 2005.

The last two years, Judson has played only one game in the CCAC Tournament and fell to Trinity International both times. Last year, Trinity International made a last second bucket to win, 60-58, and advanced to the CCAC Championship game. In 2008, Trinity International won, 41-37.

Judson fell to Trinity International both times this year in the CCAC. They lost in Deerfield, Ill., 75-73, in the first meeting and then finished the regular season with a loss at home to the Trojans, 70-60. Judson currently has a three-game losing streak to Trinity International but Judson holds a slight series advantage, 35-32.

In four CCAC Tournaments, Jim Cook is 2-3 with both wins coming in the 2006 CCAC Tournament as they won the championship in his first season. Since 2006, Judson has dropped their only game in the CCAC Tournament.
