ELGIN, Ill. - Gaining the first award for the new men's tennis program at Judson University is freshman Mariano Cutuli as he was named the NCCAA National Player of the Week. Cutuli went 2-2 on the court this past week.

Cutuli won two of Judson's three points in a 6-3 loss to Knox College. He took the #5 singles match, 7-5, 6-3, over Ransom Tilford and then teamed up with Jesse Perez to win the #2 doubles match, 8-6, over David Ham and Brian Leddy. Judson then fell to Augustana (IL), 9-0.

Judson is in their first year of men's tennis after not having a program for over 10 years.
