CHICAGO, Ill. - The Judson University men's track and field program keeps progessing each week as they had another qualification for the NCCAA National Meet. Participating at the Chicagolands Competition against NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA programs, Judson competed with the strong programs. In the meet, freshman Nate Nevius qualified for the NCCAA National Meet in the 3000 meter run.
Nevius achieved his qualifying standard in the 3000m run with a career best time of 9:12.36 and earned him 11th place amongst many DI athletes. Close behind him with a time of 9:17.71 was his team mate, Zach Adams who missed the qualification by just two seconds.
Also competing were Robert Altenburger, 3000m (10:00.31) and one-mile run (4:47.23), Luke Kierys one-mile run (4:47.17), Kyle Julian one-mile run (4:44.61) and Josh Anglish in the Long Jump (4.49m)
The men's team will compete next Saturday at Cedarville University in the NCCAA Championships.
