
ELGIN, Ill. - Signing an athlete that will continue to help the traditions for the men's soccer team, Carey Bienert has agreed to continue his soccer career at Judson University. Bienert was a standout player for Crystal Lake South High School.
Bienert will add a presence on the field immediately with the accolades that he brings to Judson. The team MVP and captain is a two-time All Fox Valley Conference and All-Area member. The three-year letter winner for Brian Allen also earned a spot on the IHSSCA All-Sectional honorable mention team this past season and was also on the Lake Park Lenar Classic All-Tournament team. He has had three game winning goals and nine assists which is 10th all-time in Crystal Lake South history.
His senior season (2009) was the best of his career for the team as they won three different championships. They took the IHSA McHenry County Regional after winning the Fox Valley Conference Valley Division. They also won the Lake Park Lanar Classic. The team finished the season 19-4-2 for the most wins in a single season for Crystal Lake South.

Judson University is coming off their sixth NCCAA National Championship and a 19 win season. They won their fifth CCAC regular season championship in six seasons this year. Judson is the NAIA's all-time wins leader and has the NAIA's top coach with the most wins in Steve Burke.
