ELGIN, Ill. - Shooting perfect for the floor by going 12-of-12, Josh Weber had a career-high 24 points leading Judson University (10-11/6-1) to a 98-71 win over Purdue-North Central (6-17/1-6). Judson finished shooting 61% from the floor and made 40% of their three-point shots.

Weber led four players in double figures as Landon Skinner had 18 points, Jim Kuban 14 points, and Ben Rayhorn 12 points. Michael Wood led Judson with eight rebounds. Weber also added three blocks and six rebounds in only 15 minutes of play. Ryan Sisson had 22 points for Purdue-North Central.

Keeping pace with Judson, Purdue-North Central was within two points of the Eagles, 32-30, with 4:32 left in the first half. The game changing moment came in the final 4:32 as Judson went on a 13-2 run for a 13-point halftime lead, 45-32. Kuban and Josh Edwards combined for nine of the 13 points as Kuban made two three pointers and Edwards made one.

There were five ties in the first 10 minutes of the game as Purdue-North Central had the lead twice at 14-12 and 16-15. Judson's largest lead in the first 15 minutes had only been four points. The final tie in the game came at the 9:50 mark, 21-21.

Judson opened up their offense in the second half scoring 53 points. In the first four minutes, Judson had a 12-5 run to take a 20-point lead, 57-37, on a Weber layup. Six minutes later, Judson had their lead at 30, 80-50, on an Edwards' three-pointer. This was Judson's largest lead. Weber capped off his perfect night with his 24th point on a fast break dunk with 6:24 left to give Judson a 29-point lead, 90-61.

Purdue-North Central finished shooting 42% from the floor, 22% from three-point range, and 79% from the stripe. Judson shot only 61% from the line. Judson out rebounded Purdue-North Central, 40-24, and had 30 assists on the night. Judson also had four blocks and seven steals.

First place in the CCAC will be on the line on Wednesday, February 3rd, as Judson travels to Milwaukee, Wisc., to face #13 Cardinal Stritch University. Cardinal Stritch is 7-0 in the CCAC while Judson is in second with a 6-1 record. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
