KENOSHA, Wisc. - History was made for the Judson University men's track team as they had their first qualifier for the NCCAA (National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association) at the Carthage College Invitational. Zach Adams ran a 4:33.70 in the mile to punch his ticket to the national meet. At the meet, Judson finished 11th of 16 teams with 22 points.

Adams (4:33.70) had the highest finish for Judson gaining 10 points by winning the mile run ahead of 21 other runners. He was just two seconds ahead of Jeremy Berg of the Wisconsin Track Club. He defeated several runners from NCAA Division III and NAIA programs. Also finishing third in the same race and giving Judson six points was Dakota West. West ran a 4:39.46 and was just six seconds behind Adams.

In the 3000 meter run, Nate Nevius just missed qualifying for the national meet with a time of 9:15.71. He finished third for six points out of 17 runners. His six points finished the scoring for Judson.

Also running at the meet was A.J. Woodyard (55m - 7.40; 200m - 27.67; long jump), Luke Kierys (mile - 4:52.95), Scott McCraken (mile - 4:54.71), Kyle Julian (3000m - 10th - 9:49.24), and Josh Angliss (long jump).
