WHITEWATER, WIsc. - Taking part in their first indoor meet, ever, the Judson University men's track team compiled 14 points for an eighth place finish at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Invitational. There were nine teams overall with them all being NCAA Division III programs besides Judson.

Nate Nevius was the only runner to score individually for Judson as he picked up four points in the 3000 meter run. He finished fifth out of 23 runners with a time of 9:30.12. The other points for Judson came from a second place finish in the distance medley relay event (11:21.38) and a 10th place finish in the 4x400 meter relay (3:48.36. In the distance medley relay, Judson was led by Robert Altenberger, Luke Kierys, Scott McCracken, and Zach Adams. Kierys, Altenberger, McCracken, and Dakota West were on the 4x400 team.

Also competing were A.J. Woodyard (55m dash-7.40/200m das-27.92), Zach Adams (400m dash-57.91), West (mile-10th-4:47.01/800m run-2:08.56), Kyle Julian (mile-4:48.97/3000m run-10:15.12), Altenberger (mile-5:08.38), Josiah Smith (mile-5:26.54), McCracken (800m run-2:10.81), Kierys (800m run-2:16.75), and Tim Ciochon (3000m run-9:49.79).

Judson will next run at the Carthage College Invitational on Saturday, January 23rd.
