MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. - Four players scoring in double figures combined with a strong first half led Judson University (4-10/1-0) to an 83-73 win over Purdue-North Central (5-11/0-1) in the CCAC men's basketball opener. Judson held Purdue-North Central to just 35% from the floor in the first half along with a 15-point halftime lead, 48-33.

Josh Edwards went 6-of-13 from beyond the arc for 21 points to lead Judson. Landon Skinner finished with 19 points as he was 7-of-7 from the free throw line while Jim Kuban also had 19 with nine rebounds. Ben Rayhorn collected a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Josh Weber made a strong effort on defense with four blocks.

Judson finished shooting 46% from the floor, 32% from three-point land, and 83% from the stripe. They out rebounded Purdue-North Central, 40-27, and forced eight turnovers.

The road only becomes harder for Judson as they host #23 Cardinal Stritch University at 5:00 p.m.
