
PALM BEACH, Fla. - Facing their third NCAA Division II opponent in their fourth exhibition game in two weeks, Judson University fell to Palm Beach Atlantic, 89-74. Judson University outscored Palm Beach Atlantic, 44-40, in the second half of play.
Landon Skinner led Judson with 26 points as he made three three-pointers. Josh Edwards finished with 11 points. Josh Weber had five rebounds for Judson.
Judson was down by as many as 29 points in the second half before fighting back and cutting the lead to 10, 84-74, with 1:32 left in the game. The 29-point lead came with 6:53 left in the game, 6:53 mark.
Judson finished shooting 39% from the floor, 19% from three-point range, and 63% from the stripe while Palm Beach Atlantic made 45% of their shots, 33% from beyond the arc, and 68% from the foul line. Palm Beach Atlantic also out rebounded Judson, 51-29.
Judson will open CCAC play on Wednesday, January 6th, at 7:00 p.m. in Indiana at Purdue-North Central.
