St. Joseph's 82, Judson 64 - Box
 

RENSSELAER, Ind. - Taking on a NCAA Division II program, Judson University fell to St. Joseph's College (3-6), 82-64. Judson had 38 turnovers in the loss as St. Joseph's had 25 steals.

Aubrey Parsons and Lindsey Jordan led Judson with 13 points each. Alicia Rovertoni had 11 rebounds. Judson shot 40% from the floor, 37% from three-point range, and 66% from the stripe. Judson did out rebound St. Joseph's 41-31. St. Joseph's finished shooting 44% from the floor, 42% from beyond the arc, and 85% from the free throw line.

Judson's start to the game was extremely slow as they did not make their first points until the 16:28 mark on two Parson free throws. St. Joseph's jumped out to a 12-0 lead at that time. St. Joseph's went on to take an 18-point lead, 20-2, before Judson cut the lead to 10, 20-10, with 11:33 left in the half. With 3:34 left in the half, Judson had the lead down to five, 34-29, on a Kirstin Johns layup before St. Joseph's finished the half on a 14-6 run for a 13-point advantage at the half, 48-35.

St. Joseph's came out with a quick start again in the second half as they made their lead 22, 61-39, in just under four minutes. Judson never recovered.

Judson is now off until January 2nd when they travel to Gary, Ind., to face Indiana-Northwest at 3:00 p.m.
