Judson 70, Warner 59 - Box

LAKE WALES, Fla. - After being down five points in the first three minutes of the game, Judson University (5-7) put together a 23-6 run over 12 minutes for a 12-point lead which led to a 70-59 win over Warner University (5-4). After Judson took the 12-point lead, they led the rest of the game.

Alicia Rovertoni led Judson with 13 points and six rebounds while Aubrey Parsons and Kristi Siemers added 12 each. Judson shot 38% from the floor, 22% from three-point range, and 72% from the stripe. Judson out rebounded Warner, 44 to 37, and forced 19 turnovers. Warner finished shooting 35% from the floor, 20% from beyond the arc, and 62% from the stripe.

Warner had a 7-2 lead just three minutes into the game when Judson sparked their offensive run. Rovertoni scored the first four points of the 23-6 run and then Siemers tied the game at nine on one of her four three-pointers. After that, there was one more tie before Judson ran away with the game. They had a 35-23 lead at the half.

Judson's 12 point lead was cut to four in the second half but once again Judson put together a run and had as large as a 15-point lead.

Judson will travel to Indiana on Tuesday, December 22nd, to face NCAA Division II St. Joseph's College.
