Minn. - In their third exhibition in four days, Judson University fell to
Concordia University-St. Paul, 110-78.
Judson had a one-point lead just 42 seconds in on their first bucket of
the game from Josh Edwards on a three-pointer.
Ben Rayhorn
led Judson with 16 points while Landon Skinner added 10. Rayhorn and Michael Wood each had five
rebounds. Judson finished the game
shooting 37% from the floor, 26% from three-point range, and 83% from the
stripe. They had only nine turnovers but
were out rebounded 41 to 34. Concordia
finished shooting 59% from the floor, 46% from three-point range, and 78% from
the line.
After Judson
took the one-point lead, Concordia went on a 12-0 run over two and a half
minutes to make it 14-3. Judson never
recovered after that run as they were down 68-31 at the half. Judson won the second half in points as they
outscored Concordia, 47-42.
Judson will
play a regular season game on Saturday, December 19th, in Wisconsin
at Silver Lake College at 3:00 p.m.
