ELGIN, Ill. - Earning the first-ever NCCAA Scholar-Athlete award for women's cross country, Sharon Hubbard was on the list for her grade point average. Hubbard is a senior and in her second year at Judson University.

Hubbard came to Judson in 2008 as a transfer from Moraine Valley Community College. She has been in the top seven for Judson both seasons.

To obtain NCCAA Scholar-Athlete status, a student athlete must maintain a 3.3 grade point average and be a junior academically.
