Box Score

DAVENPORT, IA—The Judson University men's soccer team was looking to win its fourth straight game on Tuesday against St. Ambrose. The Eagles did get on the scoreboard first, but did not hold onto the lead as the Fighting Bees scored twice in the second half to knock off the Eagles 2-1.

Eduardo Liebers netted the Eagles' lone tally in the 21st minute as he converted on a free kick to open the game's scoring. The goal was his second of the season. He had a game-high five shots on net.

Starting goalkeeper Adrian Padilla (SR/Tepatitlan, Jalisco, Mexico) was pulled in the 76th minute of the match. Backup Renan Guimaraes (FR/Paullinia, Brazil) did not face a shot on goal in 14-plus minutes of action.

With the loss, the Eagles fall to 9-3 overall and 3-2 in conference play. Judson sits in fifth place in the CCAC, four points behind first place Cardinal Stritch.  Judson returns to action Saturday as they host Holy Cross College Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
